This weekend sees a tough Pick 4 from the Premier League come our way. Here are my thoughts on the 4 games below:

Southampton v Chelsea

A tough one to call. Southampton have struggled all season and find themselves 3 points from safety with a very difficult run in. They need points, and they need them quickly. This is a Southampton side who have only scored twice in their previous 4 Premier League games, and they both came last weekend at a weakened Arsenal side. Chelsea have had struggles of their own lately. 1 win in their last 5 PL games means they sit 10 points from the CL places, and in desperate need of 3 points. I expect Chelsea to be too strong for Southampton here and win it by a couple.

Predictions: 0-2, 1-2, 1-3

Crystal Palace v Brighton

There’s no love lost between these 2 sides, and Brighton come to Palace 4 points above the hosts knowing that a win would all but secure their safety in the PL for another season. That said, Brighton have not won away from home in the PL since November 4 th . They have no trouble scoring at home, but away from home seems to be a different story. Palace have been unlucky at home recently with narrow defeats to Spurs, Man Utd and Liverpool. I expect them to win here with Wilfred Zaha to shine. Brighton may nick a goal, but I expect a Palace win, with an outside chance of a draw.

Predictions: 1-1, 1-0, 2-0, 2-1

Liverpool v Bournemouth

Liverpool are currently sat on top of the world. They’ve just drawn Roma in the semi finals, and confidence will be sky high for Jurgen Klopp’s men. I think this game will be more a case of how many Bournemouth can keep it down to. Bournemouth concede a lot away from home, and Liverpool score a lot. I can only see this going one way.

Predictions: 2-0, 3-1, OHW

Tottenham v Man City

Spurs haven’t lost in the Premier League since December 16th when they were convincingly beaten 4- 1 at the Etihad stadium. It’s a team that has Eriksen, Son, Kane and Alli all starting to hit good form, and I really see this game being an absolute cracker. You wonder how Man City will react to going out of the CL in the week, on top of the collapse at home to Man Utd last weekend. I think it’ll be a tight affair with only the one goal separating the 2 sides, and I honestly can’t call who will win this. Spurs love a big occasion, but City can destroy anyone on their day. I’ll be watching this one, but probably from behind a sofa hoping that City continue their slow collapse. It’s still delaying the inevitable, as City will still win the league, but I’m hedging my bets here.

Predictions: 2-1, 1-1, 1-2
