Our Pick 15 kicks off on Tuesday evening with Man Utd vs Sevilla and BBtipster has previewed the pool with a Syndicate available. He discusses his selections below…

Man Utd v Sevilla

Man Utd and Sevilla played out a bore draw in Sevilla. At home though they are on fire and must be fancied to go through. Sevilla will look to dig in deep but I can’t see them succeeding. Pogba is injured for Man United so that’s a big bonus for the away side!

Prediction: Home win

Barnsley v Norwich

Barnsley are just 3 points above relegation so really need points but they face a tough task to get 3 points here. Norwich have been hot and cold this season and languishing in mid-division leaves them with not too much to play for. Barnsley haven’t won any of their previous 9 home matches and Norwich look too good to for them to end that run.

Prediction: Away Win or Draw

Brentford v Cardiff

Brentford are 8 points off the playoff spots so will be looking to finish the season strongly. Cardiff however are just 3 points behind Wolves now at the top of the table and have won their last 6 matches in the championship to give them a real shot at the title. Cardiff won the reverse fixture 2-0 but that score line flattered them. Brentford have only lost twice in 17 home games so will be confident. A tough call so let’s cover all results!

Prediction: Home Win, Draw or Away Win

Ipswich v Hull

Ipswich are 9 points off a playoff spot so really need to rack up some wins now. They face a Hull side who took a big step to avoiding relegation with an entertaining 4-3 victory at the weekend. Hull have a poor away record with just 2 victories on the road this term and don’t look like adding to that tally here. Ipswich are strong at home against teams outside the top 6 so we will go for a banker home win for Ipswich.

Prediction: Home win

Besiktas v Bayern Munich

Bayern thumped Besiktas 5-0 in the first leg and will be many peoples bankers on Wednesday. However, with such a big lead we may see Bayern rest key players. European matches which are generally over after the first leg do tend to throw up draws or single goal victories for either side in leg 2 so I think there could be value in taking a chance here and covering all outcomes.

Prediction: Home Win, Draw or Away Win

Lokomotiv v Atletico Madrid

Lokomotiv have it all to do as they trail 3-0 from the 1st leg. The Spaniards won’t like the cold temperatures in Moscow but they are a very tight unit especially away from home so will look to just sit behind the ball and settle for a draw. Atletico do have the quality to win this with a goal on the break so we can cover the draw and away win.

Prediction: Away Win or Draw

Dynamo Kiev v Lazio

The Italian sides are proving to be out of their depths this season and I think this could be a shock result. Kiev managed 2 away goals to snatch a 2-2 draw in the 1st leg and they look certain to score at home too against a struggling Lazio outfit. We will cover the home and draw.

Prediction: Home Win or Draw

Pick 15 Syndicate

FC Zenit v RB Liepzig

Liepzig won the 1st leg 2-1 but Zenit grabbed an all important away goal. Liepzig have racked up noticeable away victories against Monaco and Napoli already in Europe so won’t hold fear from Zenit. Zenit have just started their league campaign so will be fully match fit for this. Goals look a certainty but this is a coin toss. Cover all 3 although Liepzig are preferred.

Prediction: Home Win, Draw or Away Win

Athletico Bilbao v Marseille

Marseille have the better squad in this game and have a 3-1 lead from the first leg. Bilbao aren’t too hot in the goal scoring category and I can’t see them turning round this tie. Marseille were in cracking form at the start of the season but have tailed off lately. They don’t have a great record away from home in Europe either so a draw looks on the cards with a possible Marseille victory.

Prediction: Away Win or Draw

Plzen v Sporting CP

Sporting dominated the opening leg and were rewarded with a 2-0 victory. The return leg looks sure to bring more action as Plzen push for goals. That will open it up for Sporting who will be looking for the killer away goal & I think they will get at least one.

Prediction:  Away Win

Lyon v CSKA Moscow

Lyon won the away leg 1-0 in Moscow and look good to progress through. They beat Villareal 3-1 in the last round after also winning that away leg 1-0. Lyon to win.

Prediction: Home Win

FC Salzburg v Dortmund

Salzburg produced one of the shocks of the round in the 1st leg coming away with a deserved 2-1 victory. Dortmund’s open style of play almost always guarantees goals and Salzburg took full advantage and could even have scored more! With a stunning home record and Dortmund again playing open football it looks as though we could perhaps see another shock. Salzburg win

Prediction: Home Win

Arsenal v AC Milan

AC Milan and Arsenal are 2 teams who are blowing hot and cold all season. Arsenal were deserving winners 2-0 in the first leg. The problem for AC Milan is that they need at least 2 goals here. That won’t happen. Arsenal will win.

Prediction: Home Win

Excelsior v Ado Den Haag

Excelsior have the worst home record in Eredivisie as they welcome Den Haag on Friday night. Den Haag however are 6 games without a victory away. Both teams are just 4 or 5 points away from a Europa League spot next season so we see this as a fairly tense and even affair.

Prediction: Draw

Levante v Eibar

Levante have only won 4 of their 28 matches this season but they did pick up a rare win on Saturday against Getafe with an even rarer clean sheet! That will have boosted the confidence of the home side but they remain in the relegation battle. Eibar have lost 3 of their last 5 games but 2 of these were against Barcelona, Real Madrid. Away from home they are decent especially against lower half teams.

Prediction: Away Win

That’s it! We’ve won a share of the jackpot!!
